We are pleased to offer the following exciting roles to increase the capacity of the Community Champions team:
- Community Development Officer – 25 hours a week (£26,511 pro-rata)
- Project Support Worker – 19.5 hours a week (£21,748 pro-rata)
The roles are funded through the Government’s ‘Community Champion Scheme’ after a successful bid by West Lancs CVS in partnership with West Lancs Borough Council. These funds will aid community-wide recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic as well as building the capacity and resilience of the West Lancs community to work together to improve connectivity and integration within and between local neighbourhoods and residents.
Both of these posts are fixed term for 12 months initially, with the potential to extend if further funding becomes available.
