These informal meetings will be a chance for groups who work in the same area to meet up, exchange information, celebrate the good work going on, and identify common issues and resource needs.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all there.
These area-based meetings will be followed in February and March with the first of the shared interest groups on a range of local topics (such as volunteering, community, environment, arts, health & wellbeing) to provide a focus and support for groups in those areas of work.
We’re busy organising the details on this and will let you know more after Christmas.
All these meetings will take place under the banner of West Lancashire Community Network and will be complemented by a West Lancs voluntary sector conference (summer 2025) to showcase the work being delivered across the borough, celebrate the successes of the sector, cover topical issues and provide further networking opportunities.
