Do you want to take an active role in promoting health and wellbeing in the community?
The CVS is running training for you to become a health champion – through the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement.
The course is one and half days training. Assessment is by a 45 minute multiple-choice examination consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions.
The course covers:
1. Inequalities in health
2. How effective communication can support health messages
3. Importance of promoting improvements in health and wellbeing
4. Impact of behaviour change on health and wellbeing.
Time: Tuesday 15th March 2016 from 1pm to 4:30pm and Wednesday 16th March from 10am to 4:30pm at Community Learning Support Hub in CVS offices. Both sessions must be attended. Cost: £30.
