10th April – Introduction to A.I (Artificial Intelligence)

Time:  10am-11am                          Location:  Online              Cost: Free

What is A.I and what can it do?  A look at the key risks, how to manage these and also how to exploit the opportunities.  An introductory overview session – you don’t need to know anything about AI or tech.

1st May – Recruiting and Retaining Volunteers (for organisations)

This session is designed to support organisations who would like to offer volunteer opportunities whilst build a core team of happy and consistent support members.

14th May – Bid-Writing for Charities & Community Groups: session 1 *  21st May – Bid-Writing for Charities & Community Groups: session 2 *

* Course consists of two 2-hour sessions, split over two weeks.  Both sessions should be attended.

18th June – Emergency First Aid at Work

Time:  9am – 4.30pm (9am registration)  Location:  Newburgh Sports Club, WN8 7ND    Cost:  Free

This course delivers Accredited and Regulated Emergency First Aid at Work training, ensuring you and your team acquire essential life-saving skills. By completing this engaging program, you’ll earn an accredited qualification, aligning with HSE requirements for your business risk assessments.

27th June – Publicity/Social Media Training

Time:  11am-12 noon    Location:  Burscough Town Council offices, L40 0RZ            Cost:  Free

A one-hour session looking at communications (how to write press releases, publicity, photos, local media) and using social media, website and AI to benefit your organisation.  There will then be the opportunity to ask questions and to arrange one to one follow up sessions if required.
